Vladimir Alexandrovich Dmitriev was born in 1974 in the Nukutsky district of the Ust-Orda Buryat Okrug of Irkutsk Oblast.

In 1995, he graduated from the Irkutsk Institute of National Economy with a degree in "Finance and Credit." He was unable to find work in his field and took on various jobs as needed. His daughter was born relatively early, and he needed to provide for his family, so he never stayed idle, taking on any available work.

In 1996, he started his own business. "Business is the right idea and a lot of hard work," says Vladimir Dmitriev.

From 2008 to 2012, he was elected as a deputy to the Legislative Assembly of Irkutsk Oblast. "I didn't run for a second term, it's not my thing..."

He began taking photographs in 2007 when his work occasionally required him to travel by helicopter.
"With every flight, nature looks beautiful in its own way. I tried to capture this beauty on my smartphone. As a result, I accumulated several hundred pictures."

"Once on a plane, I showed a couple of photos to Dashi Namdakov, and he, having seen them, advised me to show them to people. That's how the idea of a photo exhibition was born."
